concentrations of aromatic hydrocarbons. They are characterized by a distinct, often
sweet odor and are commonly used as solvents or in chemical syntheses.
Uses:
Used as solvents in paint, coatings, and adhesives. Also used in petrochemical
production and as a feedstock for the synthesis of chemicals like styrene.
