Used Oil

Used Oil
Definition:
Used oil refers to any petroleum-based or synthetic oil that has been
utilized in mechanical or industrial applications and contains contaminants such as
metal particles, soot, and dirt.
Technical Description:
Used oil retains much of the original oil's viscosity but often
becomes contaminated with particles from wear, combustion products, and other
impurities. The oil may also degrade in quality, affecting its performance in machinery.
Uses:
Primarily recycled for reuse in lubrication or fuel production. It can also be
reprocessed for use in lower-grade applications or used in waste oil boilers for heat
generation.
Specs:
- Viscosity: Similar to original oil
- Flashpoint: Varies based on oil type
- Contaminants: Metal, carbon, or other residues
- Applications: Oil recycling, industrial processing.
